Funny enough, I was looking on Amazon for calendars earlier too - not impressed. Nothing too crap. I was tempted by the jam one though. I even put it in my basket...

LOL. .. yeah, I got the jam
I also got a Tea one, too, so it’ll be daily tea and toast for me!

I usually order the Advent Calendars around late August! I’m late, this year.

Advent Calendar 1 of 3 has already appeared. (Not bad, considering I ordered it approximately 14 hours ago!)

As well as this there's the aforementioned Tea and Jam calendars.
No LEGO, this year.
Having organised my LEGO Shelf just a few days ago, I've decided that I have more than enough little useless unrecognisable little splodges of LEGO!!

Tea Calendar
Jam Calendar

Aww

I'm intrigued by what might be inside. Apparently each day is an experiment, so hopefully every day has a fun little thing included, so should make for an interesting little month.

.. Might even push me into trying to learn electronics, for a change.

The box states no soldering required, so it won't be "that" advanced..
Still, something innit!

I must admit, I missed that Radio calendar and would definitely have picked it (because it's so "out there", rather than crappy). But as you've called on it (and the jam - Grrrrrrr), I'm still on the hunt for that elusively shite calendar. I could do the Star Wars one, but it'll just be LEGO SW and therefore will vaguely resemble something from a movie/and or tv episode if you squint from 50 feet. And that's not crappy enough for me.

No harm in duplicating, although we’d both have to avoid the thread until posting due to spoilers!!

Nah, duplication spoils the fun. And I love mocking shite calendars.

Well...

"24 x Individual (20g) Portion Pots"

What it doesn't say is that 12 of those are strawberry jam, and 12 are orange marmalade, and that's that.
No fucking variety.
The Fuck!?!

*disappoint*

Glad I didn't order it now - I'd have been pissed too. I'd want 24 individual and varied flavours. Or at the very least 12 doubles.

Still, that probably would have qualified as a crap calendar...

Just over two weeks to go.

I've got a mystery advent calendar this year. Even I don't know what's actually in it!

I know what the idea is, but the box doesn't actually show any of the items (that you can "win") behind the closed doors, so each day will bring a new surprise - good, bad, or indifferent. I'm really hoping for more bad, but we'll see...

Ooooooh! I really can wait!
