New Socoder - Part #1

The story so far

I'm not too far through this, yet. Taking my time, planning things out, getting everything done one step at a time.

A few days ago, I worked on a very simplistic engine, which we'll call the "Surround Builder".
It'll work it's way into the theme builder. Or rather, the theme builder is being built up around the Surround Builder.

Essentially you take an image, cut out the middle, and then wrap those images around a table.. Bob's your uncle, nice table!

Today I tackled "Save images as png".

Oh, BOY, was that disasterous!
Having taken about an hour trying to find a decent sized exe, (137kb) I then buggered around in Blitz for another hour or so trying to pass parameters with execfile.
In the end, I decided to generate a .bat file, and then just run that instead.
Much easier.

With that working, the Surround Builder is now up and running. I can load and save surrounds into the engine and play around with them.

Next up, getting Schemes to associate with Surrounds.
