Getting used to multitouch

You know, I kinda get the whole idea of Multitouch, and it's a great little device when you're hitting two things at once.

On the iPod I've got this great little 8-bit synth music creator, and if you need to 'Shift + Tap', the shift key's there on the bottom left, you can hold it with your thumb and click where you need to.

Really really really damn useful.

But then you get to that whole 'Squeeze to zoom' thing, and you very very quickly find that your fingers don't quite move that much within the extremely confined space of the device. (or at least, not for me, anyway) And I've still not quite got my fingers to move like that! They're all cramped, and squished together, and it's just not comfortable at all.

Hmm..

Not too sure on the idea of having that on a mouse, either. Sounds like it'd only get worse!

On a bigger screen, I could see the use, and the idea of a tablet sized iPod sounds quite interesting. Looking forward to the price, but if it's a stupid price then they can sod off.
£150 for iPod is fantastic.
£440 for iPhone is just plain stupid.

As a side note, this is far more bloggy than my usual blogs, and I had no idea where to put it!
