Errrrghhhh Devcrunch

So, 2 weeks ago, I'm bored very bored, so out of my own stupidity I decide to commit the ultimate sin and register on devcrunch. But that was 1 wrong decision.

An hour passed, no confirmation e-mail.
2 hrs passed, still no confirmation e-mail
4 hours passed, still no confirmation e-mail.
The night passed, still no confirmation e-mail.
The next morning passed, still no confirmation e-mail.

So at tht point 2 weeks ago, I sent an e-mail to 2 of the devcrunch administrators asking them to activate my account.

And no response yet, with all of them. 2 weeks have dragged on and still no response.

Just one more reason why not to use devcrunch.

Oh, well done ingenium, you got yourself banned on devcrunch, actually not banned, deleted for starting the topic you don't like devcrunch forums.

But hang on, although it was a bit of a suicidal thing to do, you're entitled to your own opinion, you're entitled to say what you want to without the threat of them deleting your account.

It's called democracy!
|edit| Just recieved an e-mail from devcrunch. Accont finally activated, though it's late. |edit|

Democracy is not for websites, it is for countries.

There is nobody saying democracy has to be used by the Devcrunch admin. I'd be a bit pissed off if somebody started posting on my website saying they don't like my website.

Huh? 2 weeks? The DevCrunch memberlist says you registered 2 days ago, not weeks.

Yeah, that's because I got my account activated 2 days ago but only got told about it a few mins ago.

Ingenium, your sig's too long.

yayyak I'd be a bit pissed off if somebody started posting on my website saying they don't like my website.

Ingenium, you have a red badge.

Andrew, your complaint is "I didn't get my activation email" That's a really rubbish complaint. If you don't get one within 24 hours, log onto an irc channel, and ask nicely.
..
Unless of course they just didn't want you there.

Soltan, their are easy ways to get them to activate your account. I and the vast majority have had no trouble joining Devcrunch. This is also hardly the worst problem in the world.

I also really don't think you should be slagging off Devcrunch in your blog, or stirring with comments about Ingenium. Please don't.

You also don't appear to want to join, so I don't see what the problem really is. Surely you'd have given up after it didn't come in 5 minutes, this leads me personally to believe this is more stirring.
