I'm trying out Wordpress in the hope that I can use it for the next version of the Firestorm Productions website. It has some nice features and seems to be a darn sight easier to work with than the present site layout. I had this mad brainwave to make a blog-about-a-blog... sort of a development diary of how I turn this page into something that has originality, flair, and entertaining content. I'd even settle for just one of those! 26/06/07 Further tweaks to the page template 24 - 25/06/07 Various tweaking and slacking 23/06/07 Wrestled with a Poll plugin that didn't want to play nicely in IE6 22/06/07 Adjusted block quote formatting, added "Our Games" and "Fellow Developers" sidebar sections, figured out how to hack (i.e. remove) the "Posted by..." info on static pages, upgraded to latest Wordpress version. 21/06/07 More slacking... 20/06/07 Added the "Litebox" piece of Javascript for displaying full size images from thumbnails and fixed the irksome content background bug. 19/06/07 More tweaks to the colour scheme. Also started playing around with some new logo designs (will post a few tomorrow). 18/06/07 Slacking No work done. 17/06/07 Updated the template and started hacking it into the standard Firestorm colour scheme. So far it's quite pleasant to work with. Some bugs with far bottom-right corner background alignment to work out.

Prospero	Not quite so blue now Found a new template and spent a bit of today hacking it into shape. The biggest detail to fix is the colouring of the links.

Prospero	Thanks Ben It's a bit of a surprise that there is so much blue. I thought more of it would be held in the CSS rather than in images, but no big deal. It's being chipped away, slow but sure

Prospero	Last bits of blue eradicated from the main page I think. Just have to deal with the comments box over the weekend.
