This week's newsletter hasn't really happened..
Forums have been quiet, the usual blogs have been oddly silent, and even my usual pick of Tubage is a little disappointing.

I'll be honest, I was expecting something better, especially since I didn't do a proper newsletter last week.
Still, not to worry, there's a big adventure to keep you occupied from Sunday, and in the meantime I'll overfill the newsletter with Youtube links, and pretend that it was all intentional.
Created by hamid1455, this is a decent enough balloon game, where you simply click the balloons as they fall to score points.
If I were to whinge, I'd suggest that the clicks are a bit off, and the balloons are far too clustered into groups to be much of a challenge.
.. But, hey, what would PlayMyCode be, without it's awesome editing abilities?!

Adobe say "ok, sod it" and the internet rejoices.
Not sure why, mind, it'll probably be a good 5 years or so before folk stop using Flash.
Flash Games and Anims still kick arse, and developers aren't all that good at moving on from their comfort zone!

Why not try out our new Webcam Enhanced mode?!
If you have a webcam, try "dragging" your hand near the screen to scroll the page.
Draw a circle around the Socoder ball to take you to the homepage.
Press the Socoder ball to create a new topic. (it helps the recognition software if you go "pop" whilst pressing it.)
No webcam?
You should be able to do the same with just an Optical mouse.
Be sure the little lens is pointed directly at the screen, so it can pick up the series of dithered dots that have been scattered around the site, and wave away!
(although the pushing of the Socoder ball will still need to be a mouse click.)
