Ups

What did you get done this week.
  • AGameAWeek
  • Started Puzzobomb iPhing
  • Sent Stringy Things update to Apple.. .. Last wednesday.
  • Made a trailer for Stringy Things update, uploaded to Youtube, still waiting for Apple...
  • Started Xmas Xompo

Did everything turn out as planned?
    Near enough!
    Still waiting for Apple, though.
This really isn't fitting into my whole AGameAWeek scheme of doing things, is it!

    Downs

    What didn't you get done?
  • Anything Webby

    Why not?
    Not sure.
My new weekly schedule is approximately as follows.
Tuesday : Post AGAW, Do some iDev
    Wednesday : Additional iDev
    Thursday : Webby/Misc
    Friday : Webby/Misc
    Saturday : Sucky work day
    Sunday : AGAW
    Monday : AGAW

Seems to work quite nicely, but last week's Webby days ended up being Puzzobomb days, and the schedule's not quite sorted itself yet.

Give it time, I'm getting there!

.. Having said that, I'm working on AGAW today, and that's not iDev, so..
    fucksocks.

    Now

What are you working on right now?
I'm tweaking the 4096 alien code to make little monsters!

    How's that going?
    I'm tweaking it's legs!

    Next

What's the plan for the week ahead?
  • Dungeon romp!
  • Finish Puzzobomb
  • ..ummm.....?

You can copy+paste the BBCode from the box below, or structure however else you'd like...

    Ups

What did you get done this week.
  • Ordered more electronics parts
  • Wrote a set of Stepper motor functions for a CNC milling machine
  • Made a 'down-the-line' Serial programmer for Atmel-based MPs (Yes, Arduinos and the like!)

Did everything turn out as planned?
Going fairly well, still have a lot going on that needs sorted but everything is coming together. All motors work and i can plug in 10 arduinos at once and program them in tandem through a simple switch.

    Downs

    What didn't you get done?
  • Still no word on business loan
  • Relax some
  • Bake a cake

    Why not?
The government is ran by idiots that take their dear time, So that ramps up my stress levels, which makes me not want to bake that cake i'm always talking about.

    Now

What are you working on right now?
Fixing a computer for *gasp* a middle aged mom with kids who wreck it any time they get. Seriously, Zwinky f'ing toolbar was installed 3 times....

    How's that going?
It's working out, but this computer is as clean as a 2 bit whore on the high street. I wish people would be more sensible about crap they install...

    Next

What's the plan for the week ahead?
  • Build more fun industrial cutting tools to do my bidding
  • Program/build some more microcontrollers!
  • Bake that cake!?

@Waroffice - Still working on a few ideas. we have it all sketched out in CAD and the basic functions running. Using 2 Mabuchi PF35T steppers as axis control, a TowerPro SG90 servo for drill control, and a Reliapro 10,000RPM 12vdc Motor for the drill. It's all driven by a driver i smashed together based on Arduino that incorporates the needed the ULN2003A's / higher 12v amperage for the DC motors on the necessary pins (while cutting down the profile so it can ride on the rail) - Thing is, it's only programmable through serial (skimped on using an FTDI chip to save space) but overall works! Tomorrow, we plan to start cutting materials for our prototype.

Do you use MSN? I'll show you the project further if you're interested.
