Meh.. It could go either way, but will probably be as crap as any other movie I've seen in recent years.. (Except Corner Gas, obv.) I know it's a remake, but when he goes "built on a burial ground", I just moaned at the obviousness of it!! -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

Yeah, it's kind of giving everything away already (despite it being in the original). A lot of the younger audience may not have seen the original, so this trailer actually spoils some of the important plot pieces - the clown, the tree, the "tv people" the closet, the melting man, the house being destroyed etc. A shame. I'll be very surprised if it's anywhere near as good as the original, despite the ability to "improve" the sfx nowadays with lots of CGI.  But like I said, I'll watch it anyway. I just won't pay to watch it at the cinema. Funny enough I did pay to watch Poltergeist 2 and 3 at the cinema. I'd have been better throwing my money at my local barkeeper

Poltergeist 3 is probably the worst films I've had the displeasure of paying to see. Awful in every possible way. And I thought 2 was poor.

The only thing ever to get me was a BBC programme called ghost watch:- en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghostwatch It was beautifully crafted to really scare the shite out of people and had me right up until the end where it loomed on me it was a windup when the ghost from the house wrecked the studio...
