I gave up waiting for the day fusion happens, always 30 years away and now they've got more energy from the fuel than it takes to ignite it they'll be saying "another 30 years", I'll believe it when I actually see it.

Scientists can now also create tiny black holes in controlled circumstances. I was hearing earlier this year this might go wrong and the entire planet gets sucked into it. Imagine if they turn that into a bomb? The galaxy might just be a warzone with all these black holes.

Imagine that, being sucked inside out. It would be a bit like being a TARDIS, bigger on the inside but the insides would then be on the outside with plenty of space beyond that.
