It doesn't feel like it.
Feels as though the week's only just kicked off, and yet here we are, again.
I must admit, I've not exactly achieved a huge amount, this week!
I've barely gotten started on Sheep Goes Right, and I've still not sorted out my Mac for iOS7 stuff, completely.
A crazy week, full of lots of tiny little bits of work that haven't really amounted to much of anything.

And the forum's been eerily quiet, this week, too.
Perhaps it's been a similarly busy week for everyone else?
Who can say.
All I know is that I've a whole lot of waffling filler material to write!!

Ok, we're slightly outside of the usual "indie" sphere, but it's a classic game remade for portable devices, and having just given it a quick spin, it's also a pretty good one!
...and by "quick spin" I mean it soaked up three sodding hours without me realising it.
I've been playing on my iPad, and I must admit, it's every bit as enjoyable as it oughta be.
Controls are superb, and it digs straight into the game. Even the tutorial is old-skool, leading you through nice and quickly, before leaving you to your own devices.
If you liked the original, you'll love this.

This week, Shroom_Monk has decided to tackle the complex functionality of testing whether two lines intersect.
This is a wonderful weapon to have in your game-making arsenal, and comes in handy in many places.
Collision detection comes in many forms, and line intersection is just one of them.
Personally, my most memorable case of line intersection testing came when I tried my hand at doing "Invisible Munkies", a game which involved a whole lot of lines being onscreen at once, with invisible lines jumping about atop visible ones.
For the most part it worked well, but YeOlde Blitz2D had a tiny quirk with floating point maths which only showed it's face once every bazillion times, making things bloody frustrating when munkies occasionally glitches through the floor. Grrr...
The game was abandoned shortly thereafter.
Perhaps, with Shroom's much more stable code by my side, it might be time to reattempt it?! socoder.net/?article=37076
