May 1st 2009 is when we started this whole thing, and 4 years on, we're just as crap as we were back then.
Struggling to pad things out, desperately searching the interwebs for bits and pieces, and randomly scribbling away, pretending we're busy..
What will the future hold?!
Probably more of the same!
Meanwhile, I'm going to plough ahead and see what little changes I can make, here and there. I'd love to add some new sections in, but for the most part that depends entirely on how much content I can manage to find online.
It can be tricky, sometimes!
But I'll keep hunting, and if I find anything silly to add into the mix, you'll be sure to know about it.

; Getting Bigger
Bloatware is a terrible thing, but I'm still not 100% certain what it is that's causing it.
Is it lazy-arsed coders who just copy+paste, and lazily cobble shit together that causes the code to get bigger and bigger without reason?
Or is it "proper" coders who take their time to write overly complicated gigantic chunks of code, which look fancy, but are in actual fact 99% redundant, which results in the code being several thousand times larger than it actually should be? socoder.net/?topic=3687

The trouble with Android and OUYA development is that, for some reason or another, hundreds and thousands of websites seem intent on spamming the fuck out of your inbox, every single time you release a game.
One such spammer is the imaginatively titled OUYA Forum, OUYAForum.com, which insists on emailing you EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME you post a new OUYA game.
They also had a bot which scours the twittersphere, which upon the merest mention of OUYA will briefly follow, then unfollow you, in a bid to get your attention.
They did this to me about 20-odd times before I flagged them as spam, at which point they started doing the same bloody thing to my other Twitter accounts, too.
Arseholes.

; Buttons Take Two
You might've noticed that I overhauled the BBCode buttons again, this week.
Bit of a struggle, and required a complete redux, as I attempted to stuff all the buttons into a single image, but then realised I couldn't achieve the "foreground/background" thing that way, using CSS. I think.. Or at least I couldn't quite figure out a way to do it, easily, anyway!
I opted to redraw the lot, and come up with a way to animate them in a single layer. I think they look alright. Certainly better than the blue balls..
But what's your opinion?
