Space Dock

Playable tech-demo for docking with a station in space.

Screenshots
Manouver a ship to a docking station, try to board it by flying through a gate, and slow down over a docking bay to be able to dock with the station.

This is one of my tech-demos to demonstrate and live out my favorite space-related endeavors in true retro-style. The program is completely unoptimized but runs well on a: Pentium III 600MHz with a Viper V330 (4MB) videocard.

Package contains a Windows executable and required media.

Hah, and I thought parallel parking was difficult. This was really fun for a little demo. If you could make a whole adventure game with features like these, that demand perfection, it would be so great.

I found that the best method when inside the docking station, was to back into a space...

Does this game use a 320x200 resolution or what? I get a 'unable to set graphics mode' error. (windows 7 & ATI 4890 gfx card)

Rather windows (or is it the gfx card??) no longer supporting legacy resolutions.
edit: or 16bit programs if you have 64bit

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with going bigger, just the loss of the old stuff.
Considering the number of 8-bit machines I can run in Windows, it's a bit pants that Windows doesn't at least TRY to get low-res stuff running, although if this were a windowed game, Blitz would be running like it normally would.. It can at least do that!

Note to all, When in Blitz, use Windowed..
