I use far too much of the BBC to consider scrapping the license fee. Sorry.

Technically only if your TV is capable of receiving bbc. If you have an older (pre-digital) TV that doesn't have freeview built in, the technically you don't need to pay. However, practically every other device in your home can get bbc in some form or another so everyone's screwed.

I don't watch it either... They've literally got nowt now I'd watch, all the decent sport has gone, total wipeout got taken down (why... Why?), and the top gear I know and love is away too!

I don't even listen to their radio... Radio 1 is a complete joke... The news is that over the top dramatised bollocks at the slightest thing!

Their website changes every other week... "Try our new homepage"... No, piss off, it's probably splattered with strictly bollocks and I just don't care!

Auntie... Do me a favour... Go away!!!!

I listen to a lot of Radio 4 comedy, from Just a Minute and I'm Sorry, through to News Quiz, Absolutely, Meet David Sedaris and more.

Whenever a death is reported, or there's a significant event around the world, I'll link to the BBCs article, because I trust that to be the better standard of reporting.

And then there's the actual TV stuff, Doctor Who and Sherlock, and the news panel shows Have I Got News for You and Mock the Week are regularly watched shows.
Episodes is also a good show, but I missed season 2 when I was stuck in hospital, and for reasons unknown I just haven't bothered to catch up.. I should probably do that...

Oh, and in approx 25 hours time, DangerMouse will be reappearing on our screens, and if 52 new episodes of DangerMouse isn't worth the License Fee alone, I don't know what is!!!

And then there's stuff like BBCTaster, which is home to random BBC tests, and not forgetting the ever present BBC R&D who bring wonderful media-based experimentation.

I'm very pro-BBC, and without the fee, the whole organisation would be stuffed.

People keep saying "look at American TV.. They don't have a license fee." And they're quite right.
Commercial TV can sustain itself, absolutely.

But we're not America. We're Britain.
And if you want an example of our country's amazing none-BBC Commercial TV, sit and watch ITV for a week.

It ain't pretty!!

Channel 4 is as good as we've got, without the BBC.
