(*last I tried it) Amos-style was all well and good 15 years ago on the Amiga, but it's just not up to it when you're loading more than 5 different things into memory at once! Whores will give you herpes for free, but you don't see me hopping on that deal. Why bother with this? Call me a fanboy (I'm really not, though i do prefer blitz over dark). I used DarkBASIC when i was 11 and hated it. The engine was clunky, the syntax was horrid, and it seemed in some way gimped. Like it or hate it, it could still come in handy as a tool for teaching kids the basics of making games, before they get bored and become chavs !
