If not, well, hell on! Weird when you get older Valentines isnt it, its a bit of a chew now, card, flowers, meal, aye, you get a legover, but when your married, it par for the course anyway, it only the fact that if you dont get the other half anything you'll pay for it anyway in stroppyness!  Once over, it was to gauge how many lasses fancied you, at school it would be "how many did you get?"... I never got any one year, a lad in class we sat with, the shit bag, got three, showing off... He was like "Here, Denna, want one of mine?", I was like "Nor mate, I dont fancy your mam, sister or your aunty, so, your alright!", clever c***! One of the cards I got one year had a poem in it, which I never forget for some odd reason, I havent got the foggiest who the card was from, love to know because the poem made me laugh, it went something like:- I saw you through the window, smart and undressed. Little blue boxers, little blue vest. But as luck would have it, and it was so unkind. You came to the window, and pulled down the blind. That's the only poem I can really remember, 20 years or something its been stuck in there, lol, whoever did write it obviously never realized she actually did rub off on me after all this time... Though, no doubt, 20 years down the line I'll be sitting at a party somewhere, and the female version of sloth from the Goonies will roll up and pronounce that it was her that wrote that card, totally killing my fantasy that it was indeed, Sandra Bullock! It could be worse, my missus expects cards and gifts at birthdays and christmas and what-not from the cats!!!! Luckily Asda do a cheapo "From the cat" range! PS: nice poem rockford
