Cower	Yes, a third party distribution. It's like how you don't say any one Linux distribution is Linux itself. It's a third-party distribution of Linux/Lua/etc.

steve_ancell	Hotshot ASSEMBLER is waste of time Yeah, I already figured that one out for myself!, stick with a free and simple programming lanuage like PMC then, if all goes well; progress onto at least letting the kid know that there are many other lanuages to choose from.

dna	I've never heard of MS Small Basic. I'll Google it. * I cannot believe that Ms Small Basic uses Turtle. Horrible for some but I have not installed the software to check fully. ** Some of the commands are more useful than I thought. MS Small Basic might be great for some applications since there are built in functions that make certain applications very simple out of the box. Good Find -=-=- DNA
