At least you get to see the sun. I read about it once, sounded glorious!

4ft snow! Is that regular or freak weather conditions? Half a cm and the UK grinds to a sliding halt. Then the excuses come out from the local councils, the train companies, highway agencies, politicians etc. etc. saying they were caught unaware. Surely that's what the Met Office is for? Do they never watch the weather forecasts?
