See, it's dog shit like that that pushes genuine, honest indie titles down the list so its rare they see the light of day.

I'm not against IAP, when it's a nice little bonus, like extra levels or something that adds proper value to a game, even if the game was free (The old Shareware approach) or not (If I enjoy a game I've paid for, but have the choice to extend it further, then, fair play), but that really does stink to the high heavens mind.

But, these are the days of the wallet snatchers, so, it really does not surprise me at all... You cannot even fart nowadays without someone trying to catch it in a bottle and sell it back to you.

I agree IAP can be useful or even vital (you HAVE to do it for OUYA, as all games are gratis or free upto a point).

This game would still have been bad, but not as bad, if say a few thousand coins cost 10p (we all used to pump 10p into Gauntlet to continue our progress BITD, didn't we?), but the amount being charged here is beyond ridiculous.

I don't see anything wrong par se in gaining additional funds from a player if they genuinely gain extra items/enjoyment from the game, but just to speed up progress or get some pointless sparkly thing, or something that they should get automatically as part of the game (eg bullets in a shooter) is derisible.

But this is EA and derisory is what they do best.
