Socoder -> Off Topic -> TOR, I would steer well clear of this!

I hadn't even heard of TOR until 5 minutes ago, and although I agree with a free internet, there still seems to be a need for a basic level of surveillance.

(Linkage)

And this paragraph I found in this info page just about sums it up, seeing that NONCE is a slammer acronym for "Not On Normal Courtyard Exercise", or in Layman's terms a paedo.

Upon receipt of a request to the IP address mapping, the system will
create a new 128 bit randomly generated nonce and provide it
in the XML document

(Here's where I got the quote from)

'Nonce' is also a cryptography term for 'number used once', referring to a value generated as part of a cryptosystem that is secure simply because it is only used one time. I think that's the actual meaning behind that paragraph.

TOR is what it is. It's a shame it's reputation is tarnished by some of it's userbase really, as it's more likely to be used by Journos and such like.

Hold on a moment. Yes, it's userbase is mostly tarnished anyway...

I'm sure someone out there uses it purely for privacy, even then it's not 100% proof I'd imagine.

I'm a Firefox man btw personally, so handy for web dev!

I know that shroom, I just found it ironic that they use that term while knowing what kind of mold uses that network.
