Just read #249. The reason I buggered off for a bit (I've been mostly internet-inactive since before Christmas), was because I get more work done when I don't have non-productive things like Facebook, Twitter and forums to distract me. We were rammed with work in the run up to Christmas and it's as simple as that, mostly. I don't do Twitter at all any more - my account has been deleted (by me). I generally don't do forums any more, either, as I have little tolerance for people in general. I also keep Facebook to a minimum for the same reason. I only have 12 "friends" on there and I'm related to seven of them (and I don't talk to many of them either). So, not about being offended. Just don't have the time for shit-flinging contests with people any more. I'd rather laugh at them from the sidelines. |

I'm a social animal by nature anyway... I never shut up, I talk stupid, and harass mates by text!  Zero'd in on one friend at the minute who works for the firm I do, call him Steve... I sent him a text and at the end I put "Okay dokey me little cabbage tickler", then on another "Nee worries me little carrot licker", then "Aye, no sweat me little parsnip strangler"... Everyone calls him now "Steve the veg", and I spread a nice rumour on site that he was once banned from the workingmens club for inappropriate sexual conduct when the clubs leek show was on and nearly ended up in court... People believed me as well! I'm so a people person! Edit: Oh, and ironically, his surname name is Berry!
