Mine's still nice and crisp and clear. It's extremely rare for any of my keyboards to have lasted this long, so .. Must be really well printed!!
The A and L are usually the first to go, but .. Nope.. Nice and solid!

It's gonna take me a while to wear that out.

LOL.. Coloured keys!? What is it, an Amstrad 464!?!

Mine's gathered dust over the past (however long I've had it?!) but that's about all.

Nice 'n' clunky, that's what... Feels kind of like Cherry MX Brown, sort of Amiga like.

Those laptop and Apple keyboards are like typing on a ZX80 to me.

Looks less Cherry Brown, and much more Cherry Red

I've never once been a complainer of key-pressing type. Little rubber Speccy keys, big chunky Amstrad keys, softer-to-press Amiga ones, IBM "mechanical" keyboards, laptop chicklets, and even an iPad's touchscreen. Never once have I complained about how squishy / mechanical / clicky / rubbery the keys have felt. I can type the same on any sort.

...

But having dealt with an A600 for years, there's no fucking chance I'm EVER buying a laptop without a fucking numpad...

Yeah I know it looks like a circus clown, but it performs much better than one. Really satisfying keypresses on this one.

It's got like a bit of resistance followed by a satisfying clunk!

*shudder*

I could do with a backlight, true, but just a plain white light will do!!!

I find blue works quite well.

Dan

View on YouTube is mine, fairly new (1+ years) still working fine !

I have chosen the standard layout keyboard, because i didn't liked the extra column of keys on the left side.

The keyboard I have here is Cherry MX compatable, so I guess I can change keytops if I ever do wear out any of them. From what I read, it is actually membrane rather than individual switches. The person I bought it from only had it a few months, I think he paid about £40 for it but he sold it to me for a fiver, this keyboard is in perfect condition. Wotta result eh!

The wiring is also braid reinforced, so that won't wear out anytime soon either.
