Wednesday Workshop #108 : The Timer Challenge
Time until Deadline

Week : 11 July 2007
The Reason : Last minute decision with only 5 mins left on the clock!

The Challenge : This week, make the player panic! Whatever game you make, stick a giant timer on the screen, and allow the gameplay to evolve around the fact that the player's going to run out of time at any moment.

Extra Info
Big clock! But, obviously not so big that it's impossible to see the gameplay...!

Weekly Rules/How to Enter
You have until Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morning 00:00 BST to submit your levels. ^ See Deadline Link! ^

Wed.Workshop is at SoCoder.co.nr. If you can read this, you're probably already there!

Stick your entry underneath this post, leaving a link to your zip or the source of your game, or whatever. (I really should get round to that Upload thing, shouldn't I!)

If you can't figure it out, or have a really rubbish server, send it to Jayenkai@Gmail.com and I'll stick it straight onto the SoCoder (Official Wed.Workshop) site.

Entries will be collected during the week, and then entered into the next week's voting. (If there are any entries..)

Please try to keep all entries within small file sizes. 2Mb is the average maximum for files.
Additional Rules are available at the SoCoder (Official Wed.Workshop) site, under the list of previous workshops.

Last Week's Games
Nobody likes ants, so no entries were made last week.

No entries last week! Shame..
And, surprisingly, no-one even commented on the entries for week 106, let alone vote for them!

So, fill up your time by commenting and voting on those!

In fact, why not go back and vote on some of the earlier workshop entries, too.

Someone did something like this on the old site.
I had one of the entries as an example and when I reformatted my drive I lost it.
I may try this one.

Coffee + More Coffee = kickass games!

Controls : Mouse
How to play
Get the same combo as shown.
You can spin the dials around, and also shift the center column up and down, too.
Used numbers are made unusable.
Get as many combos as you can. I can manage about 5, but then my eyes are fooked 'cos I've been up for about 2 days!

I got a 6!
That's pretty cool, jay. Definitely one of those game ideas worth expanding.

I wrote this before when we were on the other site and I'll write it again Jay, sometimes you show dashes of brilliance when you come up with an idea for a game.

This is fresh. At least for me it is.

Yes, but you made it a game.

It also has other uses, one of which you just mentioned.

Brilliant!
