Which Amstrad CPC Game is Better?

Never played an Amstrad CPC game but Rick Dangerous (*cough* Indiana Jones) looks like it'd be the most fun.

Out of those four I only had Rick Dangerous, I've never played the other three.

I had Marsport and Rick Dangerous for CPC. Marsport was a sprawling, slow slog of a game that I just didn't enjoy BITD. Strangely I also had Dun aurach (pretty much the same game, but set in a Celtic world, rather than a futristic one). And I didn't like that either. Luckily, I knew a guy that worked at a software distrobution company that could get any game for any system for mere pennies. I had well over 400 original CPC games.

My top 3 CPC games are -

Gryzor
Renegade
Sorcery

BTW I voted for Rick too - it was a great (if frustrating) game

RD2 was indeed great and a sequel that was better than the original too.

Antiriad was indded rock hard. I know I didn't get too far in that game.

Rick Dangerous is one of these games, in which you have to remember where the traps were.

If you could remember the spots, then the game is easy, if not, then it can become a bit frustrating.
So either you get too frustrated and stop, or you play it until you are done with it ^^;

I haven't played it (or the other games) on the cpc, but on the C64 and the Amiga.

So i have voted for it as well.

And the pixel-work (the graphics) for these games is still amazing.

There are still games, which i would like to replay, like the Sacred armor of antiriad (c64 version).

Turbo The Tortoise was part of the mascot platformer trend that Sonic The Hedgehog kickstarted.
Still got my copy.

It was "Fun enough.." at the time, but dear god, going back to play it nowadays..
SO SLOW!!!

I agree @rockford Gryzor is sweet! (More commonly known as Contra of course)

What I especially loved about Gryzor and Renegade on the CPC is if you had the 64K expansion (which I did), all levels would load in (rather than multi-load) and you got awesome music in Gryzor. I can't recall any other CPC 464 tape game actually making use of the extra memory if available.
