Jay, what do you primarily use to compose game music and sound fx for all your games?

Oh Lordy! The number of possible answers, here!!

Music

On iOS I use the app KORG Gadget. Gadget lets me poke away at notes and hopefully get some kind of result.
There's tons of different synths available for it, and the only real issue I have with it is that pitch-bends aren't as intuitive as I'd like.
Oh, and the load/save box doesn't handle folders, so I have a giant list of about 500 choons, all in one giant scrolling box!!!
If you hear an MP3, it's done by that, and has been since it released on iPad back in 2014

On Windows I use MODPlugTracker, or it's current form of OpenMPT. This makes mod/XM files, and is handy for smaller sized choons.
Unfortunately, I'm on MacOS now, so can no longer safely rely on that tool.
Booooo....

Over the years I've produced various forms of random music players, named JMTrackr. The most recent version is available here.
If you open that up and place this code into the little blue box on the bottom, you can use the secondary play button to play a randomised form of the CHOON.

SFX

For an awfully long time I've been using Dr Petter's SFXr tool to generate sounds. It creates lovely 8bit retro sounds and they fit my games wonderfully well.
Most other sounds have been recorded with the iPad whilst I go "click" or "pop" or other such things..

Also, many of the SFX for ShoeboxOfGames were recorded from a Monopoly set I happened to have sat by me, when I was making that! Shuffling cards, tapping pieces against the board, rolling dice, etc. They're all courtesy of Monopoly Gamer : Mario Kart edition!

For JSE's sound library I had to add additional sounds.
KORG Gadget was used once again, to create the "Beeper" sounds, using the Kingston gadget, and a high tempo.
On top of those, I've grabbed a bunch of sounds from the Sonniss free game sounds library, too.
