Question of the Day : November 1st

What's the highest degree of pain you've ever experienced on a scale of 1-10?
Tue, 01 Nov 2022, 03:13
rockford
Pain is subjective. Every person feels pain in a different way. Also a short high pain can be much better than a constant/recurring dull pain. I've got a pretty high tolerance apparently.

My recent broken thumb didn't hurt when I did it, but I feel it pretty much constantly now.

I've had numerous incidents over the years, but none I'd say registered higher than a five for me - but I know my wife and son would say they were 28!

ST: Voyager
Fawlty Towers
Black Adder 2 onwards
The Vicar Of Dibley
A Good Life
Are You Being Served
etc.
etc.
etc.

Soooooooooo many older shows, so few newer ones.

Newest show I could happily rewatch.. Journeyman was awesome!
Or Corner Gas.
Mmmm!
(Animated currently available on Amazon Prime/Freevee)

Modern shows with big arcs and things? Those don't work on rewatches, for me. Once you know the arc, it ruins the whole thing.

What do you collect?
Thu, 03 Nov 2022, 04:29

Jayenkai
Useless skills and information that I'll never use in any sensible manner.

Question of the Day : November 4th

If you could only drink one drink for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Fri, 04 Nov 2022, 02:36
Jayenkai
Coffeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
Fri, 04 Nov 2022, 02:59
rockford
Tea. Easy.
Fri, 04 Nov 2022, 04:00
cyangames
Water.

I was tempted to go down the decaff route as only drinking caffinated stuff would probably wreck me pretty fast, i guess it depends on whether or not you classify tea as a single drink. you could always add fruit teas to the mix and of course, leave them to chill, add other things to them but at that point it becomes a mish-mash, so I guess it'll be water for me.

Question of the Day : November 5th

What's your favorite sleeping position of all time?
Sat, 05 Nov 2022, 04:10
Jayenkai
"Of all time"?! Bit redundant!

I tend to sleep on my right, which is the side I also happen to have the shunt fitted. I'm not sure why that is. It probably isn't all that sensible, if I'm honest.

I sleep (mainly) on my right too.

Normally I sleep on my side unless I'm absolutely knackered when I'll sleep on my back, ideally snuggled up with someone else is good too

Do I believe they exist?
Sure. The possibility that they don't is ludicrous.

Do I believe they visit our planet and take us up for anal probes?
Nah!

Time and space is a big hurdle.

I'm definitely a believer that aliens do exist, somewhere within the universe. Are they visiting Earth? Highly unlikely, but I suppose it's possible. I'd really like to meet one and learn about their tech, worlds and history.
