We have had snow, for a while now. Finally was able to get my pickup truck home today though, after three days of having to leave it at the bottom of the hill. Did take some snow pics the other day to share, but have not posted them yet. Town looks beautiful in the snow.

We had our first 35 degree C day yesterday and I got it into my head to clean out the gutters... Now my neck and arms are bright red and I'm aching all over.

We actually got to 53F today which was nice, as the snow is gone and I could run out to the store, just in time for snow tonight. We have coming up at least a week and a half where it will be below freezing in the daytime.

Snowing here but not laying.

Freezing fog here. Thick as a thick thing that's really, really thick.

Still not laying, just a light dusting on the car.

Gettin' deeper, those tyre tracks must be close to 3 inches deep now.

It's slowed down to just small bits falling now, earlier on it was proper crapping it down.

Glad I don't have to go anywhere coz it's fuckin' freezin' outside.

No snow, here, and other than locking my keys in the truck, had a safe trip out to the stores (which were madhouses).

Woke up to about an inch of snow. It's a mild day out and the dogs had a good time at the park. Found out that Womble (Golden Retriever) is snowproof - chuck snow at her and it all comes off; chuck it at Noof (Newfoundland) and Izzi (GSD) and they look like Snowdogs!

Today was the first time our kittens had seen snow, let alone be out in it. They were not impressed!

Did the cats do that "hippity hop" thing?

This thread is most certainly cursed. I took my sister's cat to the vets, was driving fine and careful and then copped some black ice and whacked a curb not far from the destination. Front-left alloy wheel is smashed with a bit missing, and the rim of the tyre looks fucked too. Waiting for my mate to get back to me, one of his contacts might have a scrap Megane with a matching wheel to mine with any luck.

As the sayin' goes, pictures or it didn't happen.

And to top it off the spare is almost bald, flat and has a nail in it.

@Steve - That's proper shit BTW - I thought it was illegal to carry a faulty spare. Is it not?

@Jay. One cat took one look, said "Fuck that!" and then walked around the snow along a clear patch. The other dived in and had fun.

You don't have to carry a spare it's just illegal to drive with a damaged one fitted. The tread was just on the legal limit but I reckon it would have gone down before I got home so I just drove home on the smashed wheel. I've ordered a replacement for 60 quid on ebay, just need to get a tyre put on it when it arrives. No point asking the tyre shop to ping the tyre off the smashed wheel and reuse it on the replacement because it looks like the beading ring is bent plus that tyre has probably weakened anyway.
