Snap Happy for NES


I've been putting together some tiles to make a swampy looking level, whilst keeping within the constraints of the NES palette. Here's where I was at this morning.

Nice! .. I mean, it's not very "swampy" and looks more grasslike, but like you say, the palette's going to be in the way.
As long as the gameplay suggests that it's a swamp, it'll very easily "become" a swamp in the mind of the player, and that's the important bit.
A few swimming crocs will make all the difference.
