Virgin broadband keeps crapping itself, the test app states it my router and it's supposed to be turing up today. For £59.22 a month it should be making my breakfast in the morning, when City Fiber goes live in my area Virgin can go pop its own cherry.

And when I say £59.22 that a broadband only package, it started off at 20 quid around 2003 (when it was NTL) and has been going up and up since Virgin took over. I've been told virgins are tight but fucking hell.

Mine's not *too* bad at the new place, though I've already had 2x day-long outages, so I can definitely see why everyone grumbles about them.
At my old house, the Nynex network (as it was before Cable & Wireless, then NTL, then Virgin) had a hub that was about 4 or 5 miles away, and our network had been damn near perfect the entire time, but .. I'm not sure what the heritage of this network is.
Seems to trip up a fair amount.
