I tell ya the F is for Fast Forward.
Its Ninja Time!

Playing Video Games
Driving everybody insane.

Its the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michaelangelo.

Fast Forward!
cheers

|edit| yes the quality of the video clip was poor and grainy. Most likely the person recorded off the boob tube. Would've been better recorded off of a DVD.
I have both DVDs of TMNT Fast Forward and the artwork and animation is really good and cool. |edit|

all right!, lyons.

I was wondering when somebody was going to put
up a video of the original TMNT.

Yeah, I used to watch the original cartoons too.
I still like them. I also have the old movies of TMNT and also a few comic books of them too.

Turtles in a half shell..Turtle Power!

I gotta tell you
the remake of the TMNT
at least the opener or intro is not very good.
The music is not very good and the animation
and music seem to be out of sync.

I bought the remake of the original TMNT
and over at the local Uncle Wally mart(um Walmart .
But hey for only $7.50.

Fast Forward and the original TMNT are a whole lot better
character wise, story wise, music and animations too.

I just hardly understand kids shows. I see how kids might like the adventure and heroism but I don't see how presenting a candy coated world where good and evil is black and white, your friends will stick with you forever, all problems can be solved by fighting, and no actions have consequences can be beneficial to children. I know people have to find escape from a mundane world, but can they not find a less abrasive way?

(btw, not in anyway attempting to start conflicts, just noting an opinion)

ligthen up dude!
its just a cartoon.
and its for fun, entertainment, some escapism,
heck even for learning and getting morals and lessons across.

even games, movies, video games, sports are for fun and pleasure too. And millions and billions of dollars of business.
Each to his own past times and interests and fun.

so you better lighten up
or the Turtles and I are going to kick
your mundane butt back to dullards.

gee, that was almost scathing.

I didn't exactly mean to be a fun kill and maybe that was a bit too harsh, but I remember when cartoons were bitter satires about politics and society and when each episode contained allusions to some nice victorian novel or historic event. These new flashy shows that feed kids the same old garbage as pop culture just don't appeal to me. When art means commercialism, it's not pretty. But I am open to simple stupid fun, it's just that when that's the only thing kids are exposed to, it kind of bothers me.

So I'm sorry if I offended you and your turtle friends. That was not my intent at all. Maybe the times have changed, and I've just been left behind but I hope I don't sound like an old timer (because I'm not, I would hope) when I say "sometimes I just wish that time would sit still."

But I'll try to be less of a fun kill in the future. And all differences aside, nice to meet you. I hope that didn't have a smug or condescending vibe.

haha

me offended,no my grasshopper son.
The Master Power Mousey tells you and especially
Raphael not to be overly serious.

as well as this:
one of the differences of a boy and a man is
the size and manner of their toys.

Yes, I do like cartoons,books,movies,games
both fictional and non-fictional that are more
of a serious,historical,philisophical,metaphysical
nature. And especially of ancient civilizations
like the Eygptians,Sumerians, Babylonians, Incas,
even the Greeks and the Norse too. Also I like to
read and study books on Quantum Physics, Transgenics,
Virtual Realty, Programming, Psychotronic Warfare, etc.
A whole blend of these and also esoteric embodiments and metapysical meanderings.
Yet, the Mousey is a complex creature and with Power.
I like and love a variety of subjects, topics and interests too. Variety is the spice of life.
I can be serious, joking, fun, positive/negative(or is it nositive and pegative ), and even serious but joking at the same time too.

You did seem to come across as mundane
and dullard too. Im sorry. Perhaps, I was wrong.
Yet remember what Jack 'the King' Kirby
said: "Life is Bitter Sweet".

yes, I can be a buzzkill sometimes, though in most instances, incidentally. I'll try to keep that to a minimum on these forums. But I won't say more about this since we've already established that point and I don't really want this thread to get more off topic (despite it's being in the OT section).

Its okay John,
And you can be off topic with me.
True.

By the way, I like the word or name
Buzzkill. Sounds like a big baddie bossman
or hired gun type in a video game or movie.
