LAME MP3 encoder for Audacity

The DLL\you need

https://www-users.york.ac.uk/~raa110/audacity/lame.html
Here's the DLL you need for Audacity to save MP3s...

Go for it. I used the overnet.org mirror, and things worked fine.

It's for license issues as Audacity don't own that thing...

Have fun.

hmmmm.....I'll have to check this out.
I'm getting an MP3 player soon. Probably a Creative Zen or Iriver. My portable cd player is too bulky.

thanks,

I just shove a bunch of MP3's onto my DS, now. Kinda handy, especially the ability to just leave it open playing tracks through the DS's speakers.

(Plus the fact that I tend to plug it into my PC each day, whilst coding anyway, so I can easy drag and drop a few new tracks over when needed.)

what Jay said(posted) gives me another reason why I might buy a Nintendo Ds. But and sadly, not too many games for the Nintendo DS and those in the RPG department...basically just suck and look too young and are for the teletubbie PBS kid age.
hmmmm...maybe a Sony PSP?

now garand, I did have an Ipod and also an Ipod Nano. I do not like them. I had bad experiences working with both.
Trying to make them work.
However, I did buy a cheap Mp3 player at Walmart and for only 59 dollars. It was small and had a rubber casing and buttons. It lasted for almost a year. The buttons and controls gave out. It came with some software you installed on your PC and uploaded and transferred songs from your PC to the player.
It worked so nice and so easy. And there was a built-in 256 mb chip to store, write, clear, rewrite songs onto. Hey, even 50 songs will be good for me. There are some songs that I like so much..I play them over a few times.

cheers,
