but it's jamming them up, on the fly, on the GPU as it's rendered! I believe the main advantage is that you can have a variable amount of improvement, which is better then just the generic 'low, medium, high' setting for all models. Plus that their examples are faster then today's alternatives.

I really liked the bump-mapping example.
