I'm about 90% sure this is 'fake'. Most likely they've combined live shots with handdrawn animation, unless they've found some supereffective way of removing wallpaint and got an unlimited license to tag on that wall and the street.

The camera and the lighting seem real, and they're not removing the wall paint, just going over it in white. If you look at some of the sections, you can see that the white paint is slightly translucent, and you can see the old slides.
