Hello World

This week, I started a whole new blog.
I figured it might help with the Newsletter, if I
cut it into chunks, and started compiling it daily,
so I could throw it all together on a Friday
          morning.
Rather than my usual "do it in Notepad", though, I
instead decided to post those chunks onto an actual
          blog.
You can see the chunky bits here..
criticallytriangular.blogspot.com

So, my job should've been easy. Gather this weeks
chunks, sling them into the newsletter.

Unfortunately, my ever-worried mind got in the way
of that plan. Rather than compiling "Bits of this
week's newsletter", I've been constantly worried
          about repeating myself.
Instead, then, I've been hunting the net for things
that I normally might NOT put into the newsletter.
It's annoyingly given me even more to do.

Additional Apple Frustration

Everybody hates coding in Apple's crazy ways.
          On the other hand...

Goto Links

Art of Illusion

A quick Shoutbox discussion of 3D Modellers makes
Jay go on the hunt for something half-usable.
          This is what he found.

Metric Suxorz

          Microsoft are American.
They laugh in the face of silly Metric numbers.

DirectX Fix!

Microsoft should probably add this stuff to
Windows, but they're too busy laughing at numbers.

Stack-based Interpreter

Exactly what it says on the tin!

Car Tracker

Mog wants to build a car tracker, because it's nice
          to build things sometimes.
socoder.net/?blogs=24097

Cower's Site of Balls

Since his balls are becoming less ball-like lately,
and he wants to show them all off, Cower's made a
nice big fancy looking site to showcase them all.

Hobo Extreme!

Explode These!

HoboBen comes up with a way to do what explode
does, except in pairs, so you can use it for
          co-ordinates, and things like that.
Perhaps you could even extend this to explode CSV
data into chunks of "x" number of values, or
          something?
socoder.net/?snippet=24052

Line Thickness

It's easy enough if your language can do it, but
all too often they just don't have that one command
          you're looking for.
          Hobo to the rescue!

SVG Tech Demo 2

Taking his lovely Flash-style engine a little
further, and finally sorting out that memory leak,
Hobo shows off his awesome skills with some nice
          looking demos.

Repeat:Until GameOver

          No CPC Code this week..
I had a nice little unsaved half-a-game going, but
then hit Alt+F4 to quit the program.. derp!

Speed Thrasher

Like a scene from Back to the Future, drag the
          skateboarder along the road.
You, the driver, must avoid all the other traffic,
but to gain bonuses, you should drive the
skateboarder into the traffic, to leap over the
          traffic, and gain the points.
          It's odd, but it works!

I'm only including Kaizen's choice of "In
