For the first time in a long time, I'm coding properly again. I'm learning the Monkey language, experiencing new methods of coding, wrangling complex maths, freaking out over annoying little bugs, and generally having a whale of a time doing it!
The complexities of trying to code for multiple platforms simultaneously is turning even the simplest of tasks into complex coding puzzles. I haven't enjoyed code-wrangling this much since I started doing DS Development, where everything had to be squished into teensy little pockets of minimal code, to keep everything running nice and fast.
It's great fun trying to keep drawing and functionality stuff separate, whilst also wanting to jump in and tweak all the sprites that you're not allowed to touch, because "HEY, this isn't the drawing routine, Stupid!!"
.. I've only made those sorts of errors about 50-odd times, so far!
Doesn't help that SetAlpha is already a function name, so I have to use Alpha instead. Keep forgetting that, and buggering things up!

BlitzBasic, BlitzMax and MonkeyCoder are all running on the same server, and seemingly the same script, because when one fails, they all do, with exactly the same error message!
