Things I've learned, this week.
1. Android games need to have a "quit" button on the main menu.
Having not actually played many games on Android, this is something I didn't notice. But other folk did, and I've already had two complaints about it! Whoopsy!!!
2. You never can be certain of things working, in the world of Android.
My C3ntipong test game includes the ability to play with tilt-controls. As far as I can tell, all oughta work as expected, but oh no, not in the wonderful world of device incompatibilities! On @TamToucan's 7" Allwinner A13 Tablet, the X and Y tilt controls are reversed, so he has to tilt it up and down, instead of left and right!!
Holy freakin' nutbags, how the hell am I supposed to fix that!!?
*sigh*
Google really should've put a few basic limitations into all this. It's a freakin' mess out there.
Last week, Spinal released his first ever iOS game, and since the, most if not all the reviews have been favourable.
People love the old-skool nature of it, and are happy to play a great puzzle game on their iPhings that, for once, doesn't rely on the random nature of a physics engine.

CaffeineKid, who you might remember from such wonderful remakes as Super Obliteration, and Duck Dash, has recently remade the classic ZX Spectrum game "Jumping Jack", and slapped it up on the Android store.
After doing so, he thought it might be a good idea to get permission..
