Today's my Mum's birthday. This is her 2nd birthday since my whole hospital adventure, and I'm pretty sure I was slightly more jolly, this time around!!
I ordered her a gift from Amazon on. Monday, but as is always the case, it didn't bloomin' well turn up. Hopefully that's here tomorrow, 'cos our posties seem somewhat lacking during the weekend..
After a full (...kinda quiet, actually) day of sitting around and doing not much at all, I've opened up the newsletter to find that it's completely empty.
Usually I've copy and pasted a few tweets during the week, or added a couple of Tube's to the bottom half, but this week's been a little less exciting.
As such, this week's newsletter might end up being a little less exciting than usual.

The secret to good Android testing lies in the ease of use of the many available Android emulators. Boot one up, pop your game into it, and give it a whirl on many different setups.

Dabz discovers that Monkey doesn't actually do a lot of the simple stuff. Although it will happily load and draw pictures on the screen, as well as add up and do multiplications, Monkey is far from a working engine, and it's up to the developer to put a lot of the groundwork in, for their game to work as expected. socoder.net/?topic=3834

Fwiw, I generally target HTML5 just fine. Just be sure to limit yourself to 8 audio channels, and only use wav files, or things break fairly quickly.

Mog returned to the site, yesterday, with an updated render of his naked Meerkat with it's evil glowing eyes!
