It's been a quiet week from me, this week. I apologise if things have seemed a little empty without my constant blathering on.
Feel free to join in at any time!

After my covid-jab, last week, I spent pretty much an entire day asleep!! Damn thing knocked me right out.
Over the rest of the week, it's been a case of catching up with everything, and trying to get as many fixes done to my many gamey-sites as I can.
Keeping up with frequent browser updates is proving to be a little tricky, already, but it sure as hell beats having to fix, recompile and upload all these games to Apple/Android every sodding time!!

The dangers remain, and though the vaccine appears to be getting around fairly well, there's still a long way to go.
After all, a large majority of those who have had the vaccine, so far, have only had their first dose.
The second dose oughta be a couple of weeks later, but our super helpful government have made it a couple of months, instead.
Hurrah...
Still, I guess it means they can at least get the first dose out to more people, without having to start all over again for Jab Two : Electric Boogaloo

Meanwhile, there's a handful of virus variants out there, and worrying signs that some of them might not be slowed down by the vaccine. Uhoh!!

Whatever happens, it seems like an annual Covid jab might be as common as the Flu jab, in future. Covid's here to stay, and we all have to be prepared to put up with the bloody thing.
Hopefully once we figure out how to get by with it, we can go back to some sort of normality.
Having said that, I'm really proud at how well IT departments around the globe have stepped up during this pandemic.
From schools to jobs, the idea of getting things done from home has become somewhat standardised.
Some firms are considering making these kinds of things a permanent fixture, and I think that's great.
