Six months.
That's roughly how long the battery on a Withings Move ECG watch lasts.
I've had mine since early December, and today when it started playing up, the app flashed up a replacement-necessary notification.
"Requires a CR2430 battery"

Aw, that's not my regular CR2032 standard..
Bah, humbug. More silly batteries to buy.

So I went to Amazon, typed it in, and "You previously bought this item in July 2017"
..
Did I?

I opened the epic drawer of random supplies (glue sticks, post it notes, an insane number of rolls of sellotape, a whole bunch of batteries, and an alarming collection of long abandoned Wiimotes) and .. sure enough.. 3 of the things. 2 packs, each with two, and one taken out.

Aaah, of course, my old old watch that I replaced the battery on.
Seems it uses the same ones.

I quite like the simplistic example output on the flutter.dev site, but .. boy, that's a lot of code for a simple spinning logo, isn't it..?

I watched a horrific news report the other day.

People enjoying the first day of lockdown-lifting.
The news was happy and joyful, but behind the reporter were hundreds of people in the town centre, heading to cafes and pubs, meeting up in town, hugs and more, and barely anyone at all was wearing a mask.

One guy getting ready for his first flight since lockdown. "We haven't been out of the country since.. oooh.. At least 2019."
Awww, fuckin' diddums.. You poor poor thing.

Not My Lemmings

A "Lemmings 30th Anniversary" game has shown up on Mobile, and .. well..
Grid based, IAP heavy.
As far as gameplay mechanics go, if it weren't trying to be Lemmings, it probably wouldn't be too bad.
But Lemmings doesn't suit a grid, any more than Mario vs Donkey Kong suits pixel precision.
The two games are so different, gameplay wise, and this "Lemmings" has gone too far in the wrong direction.
Somebody should've used a blocker.
