Success
What did you get done this week.
[*]Finished groundwork for a little thing I'm playing about with.
[*]Did a little bit more on a TF2 map I've been working on and off at since forever (but that's not really coding :-/).
[*]Not much else...

I agree with JL... keeping all the saves in one place is nice and simple.

Argh! Adverts!!

2nd April 2010

If people use them and it makes a bit of money, might as well keep them. It doesn't cost anything to register, so those who come back to SoCoder often can easily get rid of them. The only slight concern may be that they might give new users a lower first i*snip*

Portal Update!!!

4th March 2010

More specifically, the ending is exactly the same as before, with a small bit tacked on the end as opposed to a blackout. If you want the original ending, just imagine certain words aren't said. Or look it up on Youtube.

I just got all the radios last night (without a walkthought ;)), and now there's another update? Hmm...

Sams C++ in 24 Hours and Borland C++ BuilderX Problems

13th February 2010

Yeah, forgot to mention that. DevC++ will close it instantly. Either run it from the console as Afr0 said, or stick system("pause"); before return 0;. I think there's a better way than that line, but I can't remember what it is. Anyone?
Alternatively, if *snip*

Sams C++ in 24 Hours and Borland C++ BuilderX Problems

12th February 2010

I have the book, so I could give you a hand. But I know it always uses <iostream>, never <iostream.h>. I no longer use DevC++, for the reasons others have given, but when I did use it, for simple code like the examples in the book, I would just create a ne*snip*

Movies versus reality

17th January 2010

A work of fiction is a work of fiction. Wanting it to be true will not make it true. Rather than getting worked up about what they don't have that a fictional world does, these people should be thinking about what our world does have that the fictional wor*snip*
