New Rule

4th August 2007

Ah I see. lol.
Umm, I think it was a feature best left out tbh. I'll trust your judgement if ever the situation arises in one of my showcases (if I ever make one!) and you can nuke it for me :)

New Rule

4th August 2007

Cool. A much needed rule I think.
Also, didn't the showcase author have the ability to delete comments on his/her showcase? I think we were able to do that at one point. Not sure.

I got rid of desktop clutter by keeping all my program icons in a sidebar which auto-hides until I switch to desktop and push my pointer to the edge of the screen.

Safari on PC

13th July 2007

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Safari moving to Windows like country folk moving into east London?
I wouldn't be surprised if it took years till Safari is adequately patched up (in the analogy, it'd be: sufficient locks on doors and bars on windows *pu*snip*

''Homebrew''

9th July 2007

lol.
Though not as funny as yours, my experiences are:
My driving instructor on movies - "What's the point in going cinema? They let you download it online."
And at one point from two police officers, debating which was better - limewire or kazaa.

CSS Hover Change Background Image not working...

9th July 2007

Well the easy way would be to load all images on page load in a hidden div or other similar element.
"Display:none" or "visibility:hidden" might do it.

Blender

3rd July 2007

Tried it a few times, even went back to try it some more and disliked it on all counts.
Same reason as the majority of people who don't like it I guess; interface is too confusing and documentation isn't as simple to follow.
I think it's the case of want*snip*

f4ktor Design - Texture Pack 01

25th June 2007

Well the thing is, I'd like to see these rendered without the normal map filters and possibly in an existing 3d game engine.

In b3d, without the normal mapping, the first screenshot would look under par. (I only mention *snip*

25th June 2007

I'm bored. (Damn you rainy day!)
I want someone(*cough*Jnk*cough*) to setup a chat thingy like we used to have.
Bite the bullet and go with IRC i.e. via blitzed.org, I think Jay started one at one point, I'm saying "keep it alive"!
