As I said in the comments for that video, I think AGameADat should go on 365 days a year!
Sometimes I get a bit bored and need a Jay game...

I know! During the entire month of May, you make AGameEvery2Days and you just modify a tiny little part of the game. It's like one of those word games where you change just one letter to make a new word and in the end you get something completely different!

Yeah, right!! It's been hard enough trying to get these done.

I haven't even finished 'em all, yet!

Whoops, forgot to post this here, yesterday. I spent about 5 or 10 mins doing my daily chores, which included the posting of the Newsletter, and shoving the first game over at AGameAWeek.com!
Nice to have a rest, but here we go, back in the midst of it all.

First two games are here. More to come.

Problem with "A Partridge in a Pear Tree:"

Seems that on the stages with two trees, the partridge image starts being displayed above the tree images...making it ridiculously easy spot.

In addition, I applaud your attempt to make a game a day. You're a brave man.

That was to make it obvious that there is indeed "A Partridge in a Pear Tree"

It's no good calling it "A Partridge in a Pear Tree" if level one contains a picture of a tree, no visible Partridge, and due to lack of artistic botheredness, no visible pears either!!

A shame today's isn't much better. You can tell "Five Gold Rings" has been rushed. Given more time, that'd be SO much better!!

I can't understand two turtle doves at all.

Two Turtle Doves - you control one dove, and you have to find your way to the other. Use arrow keys to move and fly, don't hit rocks or you'll lose health. Various presents scattered around the level give you points. The dove warbling\cooing noise and lines are supposed to guide you to the rough location of the other dove, but from what I played the levels are fairly linear so you can't get lost too easily anyway.

At least, that's what I think.

How do you move?
Tuesday, 05 January 2010, 16:37
Arrow keys. Left and right move left and right, and up makes you fly. You can hold it or tap it, I think, but I find tapping works better and is easier to control.

It won't stop going up for me.

Nevermind, works on this computer. Maybe my joystick was plugged in and was being knocked. Jay, did you implement joystick control?
Wednesday, 06 January 2010, 09:01
Yes, but it's not on by default.. You might've turned it on in Blockman Gets!!!

(currently working on AGAW2010 engine, which includes always present option screen!!!)

Yep, it's turned on in Blockman Gets.
But my joystick doesn't seem to be plugged in.
