Jayenkai	All I can say, is thank f'k my new phone (LG KP500 Cookie) has a resistive touchscreen. I love to tappity tap away at touchscreens with the end of my fingernail. It's so much more precise than clumsily attempting to thud my way through the onscreen keyboard with the fat-arse-end of my finger. When holding it horizontally, I can use both of my thumbnails to very very rapidly type away on the onscreen keyboard. What a lovely concept. Thing is, Capacitive screens (ie, iPhone, or that stupid new touchscreen on the new National Lottery terminals) don't work with your nails. Instead, you have to use your whole stumpy finger to plod your way through things. Horrible, imprecise, and you leave nasty fingerprints all over the thing. Boo! But that's my feeling on the subject. Stealth	Capacitive screens (ie, iPhone It helps that Apple designed the interface with fingers in mind. I don't have any problems with it. Plus multi-touch is ingenious and very intuitive. Anyway. The iPhone and iPod touch have a very precise touch screen on them. If your finger is on the screen, even a tiny bit, it knows. Plus Apple built in technology to ignore stray fingers on the screen. It's a pretty solid setup. -=-=- Quit posting and try Google.

Evil Roy Ferguso	I have a pathological aversion to telephones, so my phone is not particularly touchscreen endowed. In fact, it cost $5 at Wal-Mart. I'm not even kidding. I'm starting to feel left out. And uncool. But I doubt that I could ever use a device with a capacitive touchscreen; I have OCD. I clean my glasses at least five times a day. I cannot imagine that boding well for a screen with fingerprints.

mindstorm8191	I can't afford a touchscreen cellphone yet but have messed with the iPhone. It kinda sucks how you have to almost guess where your finger will really press, as sometimes the GUI controls are small enough to be completely covered by your finger. On regular cellphones, I hate how every phone companies like their keypads flat. Then its like, you have to always look at the keys as you're texting, or else your fingers get lost on the board. The bumps on the 5 to help you center yourself usually don't help much. I'd want a phone that has each of the buttons more identifiable with touch alone - not necessarily unique, but just more than a seemingly flat panel to move your fingers across. -=-=- Vesuvius web game
