Socoder -> Blitz Max -> What good third party libraries are available?

Currently nursing an idea at the back of my head right now, so just humour me.

What good third party libraries are there that you have heard of and would like to try for BMax?

What libraries have you tried and loved? and why?

What are the killer features that these libraries bring?

I'm going to be building up my own set of libraries, and super-testing them along the way. I've already got my sprite-limit figures thanks to everyones tests, so I'll be working in a batch of limits based on those.
I'll also be figuring out resolution stuff in a nice simple way, and adding some nice option screens and keyboard stuff.

I'll be adding default sounds and images (mainly logo stuff) and bundling it all into a simple skeleton, ready to be reused for all my games. (Since I've just made 12 games, I'm going to take a week off from AGameAWeek to do all this! *phew*)

Hopefully all this won't mean each game has 7Mb of external base stuff to go along with every game!!!
I'll try my best to make it short!

If you'd like, I could share that once it's ready.

I've seen several times that BMax's library can be a bit naff. So I was thinking of building a large standard library, like Boost for C++ or the Java standard library.

But I think I'd rather try and sell it to the BMax community then provide it for free.

GL HF.
Seriously, Boost is open source. It's constantly being maintained and added to by hundreds, if not thousands of volunteers from around the world. One guy is not going to be able to beat that.
Even if you made the library opensource and got most of the BMax community with you, you wouldn't be able to beat that.

I never said I was trying to beat anything. It was an example of a popular library that people use for producing their apps.

Well, 'beating' was the wrong word. One guy isn't even going to come close to matching the combined output behind Boost.

Agreed, but again that wasn't what I was suggesting.
