Socoder -> C/C++/C#/Other -> C++, GUI, on the Pi...

Basically, I want to create a GUI app on the Pi, though, I've got one problem... I havent got a single clue where to start in terms of references etc

I'm pretty clued up with Win32, in fact, Win32 programming is all I've done in the past when writing native GUI applications in C++.

So, anyone got any idea's on where I should head to to get up to speed with such things on Pi/Linux!

Thanks in advance

I really need to have a serious play with this Raspberry Pi, I've had it few months and haven't done much due to lack of desk space. Time for me to re-arrange my room and build a purpose-built RPi area me thinks!.

Qt was written in C++ so would be a good choice. You could also look at Tk as a simple option.

I now have no excuse for not re-arranging my room, some engineers are comming to update the central heating system and I have to clear access to all radiators so I may as well just re-arrange at that time.
