Any snow in the UK is usually way up north. We did have snow in the south between 2008 and 2013, I live up on a hill and we had about a foot here with upto 2 foot in some places.

Those few years are the only times I've seen snow of any significance, it's usually less than an inch when we do get it.

Rockford: The last 8 foot snow NY got, you guys will NOT get because that was not a real snowstorm, or even a real storm, that was simply lake effect snow.

Yeah, we know. We would have seen the effects by now.

Don't you keep spare all-weather stuff in the back of your car? We get much less severe weather over here but are advised to always carry extra clothing, blankets and a shovel etc. in the boot (trunk) just in case. Brrrrrrrr....

I'd like to give thanks to our lovely new Tesco, for selling packets of Tayto Cheese'n'Onion, which are annoyingly usually only sold in those cheapo' "Home Bargains" type shops. Now we have a local supply, and bloody hell have we been making good use of it!!

Also, thanks to all the staff at Salford Royal, without who, I wouldn't have lasted long enough ...to see the kickass new Tesco store!!!

I'd accept a piece, but even if you explained what berries were in it, I'm still not sure I'd understand
