SOTB was only ever a fairly decent tech demo.
At NO point did I ever play SOTB and think "oh, my, this is a good game."
Pretty, sure, but gameplay was lost on that engine.

I have a real soft spot for SOTB - not because I liked the game (and I say "game" in the loosest possible sense), but because I managed to recode the first level with more than 11 layers of parallax for the GP2X and Wiz that ran at a higher frame rate than the original.

The music and graphics are still awesome though.

Brilliant stuff there Rockford....I like the clouds parallax which was hard for me to do in BlitzMax years ago

On the Amiga it was a fantastic tech demo, that showed just how amazing the computer was...Just a shame there was no gameplay added.
