Fierwire

I think I've been going away to foreign climes to much, I know the word fier, and its french for "proud", not a clue where I've picked that up but there we are...

Another one I did like that was when I was driving to work, I saw a HGV with the words "Les Oliver" on the back... And I just read it as "The oliveeerrrrrrr", took a few minutes to click that it was just a plain old English persons name... Les Oliver!

What a pillock!

Anyway, Firewire, I think I have had something that had firewire, god knows what it was though!

Firewire use to be great. For video or an external hard drive, it was necessary as USB 1.0 was way too slow. USB 3.0 (and now 3.1) has made firewire obsolete.

We all do it!

One of the worst ones Ive done was when predictive text swapped a word and I didnt realise...

I text a lass who I was meeting, she had a cracking arse on her, so I called her "sexxxxxy bot" when texting her (Yes, I know I'm a creep, lol), anyway, I never realised it changed "bot" to frigging "boy"

I was like "foooooookkkkkking 'elll's fire" when I spied it and quickly sent "*bot" "*bot" "stupid phone!!! :/"

She found it funny!

A few years ago I sent a bunch of auto corrected job application letters out addressed Dear Sir/Mad man... Absolutely no idea how many of those I sent out before I noticed!
