RetroPDFs - Old Computer Magazines

Been grabbing "evil torrent!!" archives of old computer magazines from this site for the past few days. Amstrad Actions, Amiga Formats, and so on.
For those interested in the BlitzBasic Amiga tutorials, they can be found in Amiga Format from issue 52 (November 93) through to Issue 66 (December 94)

Epic

Additionally, if you open the PDF's in your iPhing's Books app, it'll store it in the cloud so you can flick back again, later, which is great if .. for example.. you're reading all those tutorials for BlitzBasic with your iPad beside your Amiga!

WOW. Not used torrent for years. What client (for Windows) would people recommend these days?

Did it? I'll have to have a hunt.
Annoyingly the CUAmiga torrent isn't budging, which is annoying 'cos that was always my favourite, back in the day.

For torrenting, I'm using the "Download Station" app that's part of my Synology NAS!
Not really sure what's good, elsewhere.

Looking online qBittorrent is recommended and doesn't contain unwanted bundled software.

I used a torrent ( torrent rt free) from the Windows store a couple of days ago for some samples from the modarchive. The app has adds, but it worked as it should.

Update : The Blitz tutorials only last until issue 57, then they restart from scratch (on a much more Basic level) on issue 60.

Also, flicking through all the old adverts is fun!

Same, I haven't used torrent in a decade. Feels like Napster now. Who needs it really?

I just use archive.org
archive.org/details/computermagazines&tab=about
Unfortunately, you can only download one issue at a time instead of an entire collection, but you can preview them online and download only what you want.

Just tried downloading Amiga Format from RetroPDF. 20 GB? No thank you. Aborted immediately. Maybe he should upload his scans to Archive.org and help complete their collection.

20Gb isn't a lot. And, fwiw, there's now about 2Gb of them on my iPad!
What I could REALLY do with, is some sort of PDF Cut+Paster tool, so I can specifically cut out the Blitz Tutorials from the magazines, and put them into a Tutorial Scrapbook of sorts.
