Anybody have any idea what a ’’British Sub’’ is? Seen those in the local deli section, and not sure how they differentiate from normal subs or an Italian Sub. Is a Brisith Sub a ’’thing’’ over there, or is it just a marketing gimmick for us gullible Americans?

I don't think there's a "specific" style of Sub.. it probably has either sausage bacon and egg (a British fry), or some baked beans in it, or something..

Oh, and it would be a butty or a barm. Sub.. lol..

I rarely take my mobile phone with me, but next time will try and remember and take a pic of one and post it... Literally first time in my life I have ever seen a "British" anything when it comes to food labels.

There's no such thing as a British sub.

I knew someone would post about a British submarine. I just knew it.

I just thought you lot were more mature than that.

I'm glad I was wrong!

Moulsecoomb, the village I grew up in, has a subway tunnel that always seems to reek of piss. The neighbouring village, Bevendean, has a Subway sandwich bar with chavs that stink of piss hanging around outside.

Moulsecoomb also has a viaduct, and that also stinks of piss.

Moulsecoomb may be one of the coolest names ever for a town... The equivalent here (smell wise) would be Dundalk, Maryland which always smells like raw sewage...

Anyway, as promised.

Nope. That really is a mess of ingredients all chucked together and they've used the term British to explain why it's so bad!

Turkey and cheese? Nobody eats turkey and cheese here. Cheese and ham, yes. Ham and mustard. But not turkey. Turkey goes with stuffing and cranberry sauce only.

As for the ingredients list - fuck off! That's a shit ton of crap, right there!
