 		Since adding "community" warnings to both the registration signup page, and the registration email weren't enough, I've now opted to shift PR spam crap into the hidden Admin area, and send the author a lovely little PM.



This will be the default message sent to PR spambots in future.

It's a little unwelcoming, if I'm honest, but that shit pisses me off.

 		Yeah. I get it. Thing is, will it actually prevent human spam? ie, from those only wanting to promote a product. They'll spam, then reply they're human and won't come back ever again anyway.

 		Like I said, I get it and understand totally that you want to remove both humans and spambots that are only coming to spam. The only way to remove/reduce that sort of shite though is perhaps to limit posting priviliges - ie no links or images in the first 10 posts. But that's lots of work for you.

 		Yeah, that seems like a lot of background work, for something that can easily be done manually!! Over the course of SoCoder's life, I've tended to do a lot of stuff manually, like the Shoutbox titles, and the Monthly Worklog posts, and things like that. It helps that I'm pretty much always here, really!!!
